Smart modular electricity meter of accuracy classes 0.2S; 0.5S and 1 CT and DC connections are intended for accounting of active and reactive energy in AC circuits, for calculating transformer losses and line losses, storing in the load profile data and measured net parameters PQ, harmonics and THD, as well as for the transmission of measured and calculated parameters to the control room when used as part of automated electricity control and accounting systems (AMI).

MCS301 meter has a convenient and safe housing, it can be installed in almost any electrical enclosure using a standard mounting hole pattern.

MCS301 meter complies with the specifications of DIN, MID, IEC and DSTU standards. The meter is ready for AMI and can also have additional communication modules inserted under the meter's terminal cover that can be field replaced.

MCS301 meter can be simultaneously used as an AMI commercial metering device and as a sensor for SCADA operational and process control systems when using the second port with Modbus protocol. For example, the Modbus TCP COM350 or Modbus RTU COM450 communication modules.
